Myself, as well as others here at the ESD have piercings. No visible tattoos, so we are alright in that department. But piercings. I know its against policy to have face jewelry in and visible. Can you tell me if anyone in your offices have piercings visible besides ears? Tell me if its allowed or not. Just curious.

Hey everyone! My name is Brooke and I am new to this community. Just wanted to introduce myself and tell you all a little about me.

Well, my name is Brooke [like I have said...lol] and I have been working in the hotel industry for about 6 months now. As a matter of fact I am posting from the office RIGHT NOW! I have been working for Extended Stay hotels since August of 2005 and I must admit I love it. Although, we get those "eh" moments everyday. I don't think it's all that bad. I do have the "front desk drama" and the "pathetic co-worker" stories just as the next. So I hope I can shed some light on those who have similar issues and hoping that you all can help me with the "getting over it" process when things go totally wrong here.

For more information, just ask. I'm an open book.

Ooh yea, I work full time for the ESH and I also work part time for the Marriott company. Sheesh, what a life I live!!

Stats:
Name - Brooke
Location - New Jersey [central]
Age - 22
Birthday - July 21st [what you wanna get me?]

Galveston [31 Jul 2004|02:14am]

We were finally going to the beach for our summer vacation. On our way there, a hurricane had formed out on the Gulf of Mexico. By the time we got to the beach, it was so stormy that umbrellas from picnic tables were flying about. We decided to find a hotel; and fast. All the hotels we tried were either full, closed, or skanky. Eventually, we found a Holiday Inn right next to the beach. We went to get a room there, and found out that they had only floor 6 and above available. Because it was storming we got the like 8th floor room for half-price. Luckily for us, the hurricane was reduced to a tropical storm by the time it reached shore. I must say, it was quite fun, actually. We were swaying so much, that the patio furniture was scooting from one end to another.

It was a dark and stormy night...okay so it wasn't stormy, but it was dark, and late. at around 3 am in the morning and we really needed a place to stay, my friends and I. We were in Los Angeles and really tired, but every hotel we stayed at was...hm, you had to be 21 to rent a room. which sucked balls because none of us were. So anyway we find a Holiday Inn for $125 dollars a night which sucked. Although...i didn't pay a dime. So it was cool. I had to sleep on the floor though...and it was freezing, and i didn't get a blanket :( But yeah, it was pretty good. That's my story

Well, one time my friends and I had to stay at this Holiday Inn a long time ago because I went on a youth trip with them or something, and this was in America, mind you. We only had two beds..and there were five of us, so three of us had to pile up in the same bed, and I was on the side, and there was a huge mirrour beside me and I kept bumping into it. I wonder why there was a mirrour there. Perhaps people like to watch themselves having sex sideways? I think I drooled on it as well.

I'm Mel, your happy hotel gawd.
